Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. Since she was a teenager, she has been at the edges of both traditional and popular music. Additionally, she is a pioneer in the realms of hip-hop, soul and trap. Her voice has been said by no less an artist than the flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, and with a bite that is similar to the old ones. El Mal Querer is her second album, that was released in the year 2018, and was critically and commercially successful. Following Los Angeles, her debut album from 2017, she received an award from the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and also a Latin Grammy nod. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. Motomami, her third album was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The release came in the month of March 2022, following an appearance of the single Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer to perform solo on the show. Motomami was the only woman in the history of music to be a recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times and also three Latin Grammy Awards.
